We would like to notify you of a significant change in the protection and operation concept for all BITZER reciprocating compressors (stationary application) manufactured and dispatched from the Schkeuditz factory, starting with orders placed on or after January 1, 2024.

The BITZER IQ MODULE CM-RC-02, as the compressor module CM-RC-02 within the module housing, will now be included as a standard component in the majority of the ECOLINE reciprocating compressor series, as illustrated in Figure 2. This module will replace the current motor protection device SE-Bx.

From January 1, 2024, to May 31, 2024, customers will have the option to choose between the Motor protection device SE-B3 OR IQ MODULE CM-RC-02. Please ensure that your preference is clearly stated during the order process.

For Spare Part cases and special voltages (e.g., 24V), SE-Bx will continue to be available.

Important reminders:

Do not wire or mount peripheral devices of the compressor without ordering an extension board. Optionally ordered accessories will only be configured in the IQ MODULE and not wired.
